People hear "Tesla Time Travels" and assume it's about the car. It's not. Not really.
The Tesla part is simple
We travel in a Tesla — first a Model S, now a Cybertruck — towing a Casita trailer across the country. That part of the name is just honest. It's the vehicle. It's how we get from one hidden story to the next.
The time travel part is the actual point
Here's what we're really doing on every trip: standing in front of a childhood home that used to belong to someone famous, or a courthouse square that's looked the same since the 1880s, or a grave with a legend attached to it that people still argue about today. Every one of those stops is a small trip backward in time. We're not making sci-fi content. We're driving to real places where history is still standing, still visible, still touchable, and telling you what actually happened there.
That's time travel in the most literal sense we could think of. Not through a machine. Through a road trip.
Why we didn't pick something more "on brand" for jewelry and antiques
We get asked this a lot, since we also sell Ranch Lifestyle™ jewelry and Enriched Antiques & Uniques™ pieces. Wouldn't a name about products make more sense for an online store?
Here's the thing — the products were never supposed to be the identity. Tesla Time Travels™ is the mother brand, built around documenting hidden American stories through YouTube and writing. The products are how we fund and sustain that mission, not the reason it exists. If you're holding a piece of our jewelry or a vintage antique from our shop right now, you're actually holding a small piece of that larger story, whether you knew it or not.
What the name promises you
Every time you see the Tesla Time Travels™ name — on a YouTube video, a blog post, or a product tag — it's a promise that whatever's attached to it is trying to take you somewhere real. A real place. A real story. A real piece of American history that's easy to drive past without ever knowing it's there.
That's the whole idea. We just happened to find a name that also describes exactly how we get there.
