They’ve been with us from day one, through backroad salvage runs, candle pours, market setups, and full-circle moments we couldn’t have scripted if we tried. Elon, Tesla, and Neo aren’t just our dogs. They’re MyTxYorkies—our co-pilots, camera crew, emotional anchors, and field team. Loyal, intuitive, and always ready to roll, they’ve helped shape this story in ways no human ever could.
Elon helped protect Neo during a near-death encounter with a dog belonging to a visiting Blues Brothers tribute band—a moment that became The Chomp of Destiny and changed everything.
Since then, he’s been by our side—planning road trips with his best friend Dave, checking gear, and watching over every move we make.
Neo keeps things on track. She was pregnant during The Chomp of Destiny, and her calm focus in that moment has defined her ever since. She senses timing, adjusts the pace, and somehow always shows up exactly where she needs to be.
She’s escaped fences, climbed walls, and reappeared in places we didn’t think were possible. Neo doesn’t just move through the world—she helps organize it.
Born three minutes after her older sister, Neo, during a thunderstorm, Tesla was named after Nikola Tesla for the white lightning streak on her paw. She’s tiny, laid-back, and quietly in control—always watching, constantly aware.
She scouts setups, tells on the other dogs, and like all great personal assistants, seems to read my mind.
Unbothered. Precise. Always one move ahead.
On December 21, 2012, while people around the world watched the Mayan calendar wind down, we were in Texas—intentionally participating in a global consciousness study.
With Max, the Texas Crystal Skull, beside us, we focused on a single phrase:
“The best possible outcome for all involved.”
That focused energy was encoded into a small batch of quartz crystals—then quietly stored away.
Fast forward to 2020.
While packing products made with those very crystals, something unexpected happened.
A neighbor’s guest—a musician from a Blues Brothers tribute band—brought a dog.
The dog slipped through the gate and lunged at Neo, our pregnant Yorkie.
Elon stepped in to protect her.
He was hurt, but survived—thanks to emergency surgery and quick action from Dave, Elon’s best friend.
Later, we learned that Dan Aykroyd, co-founder of the original Blues Brothers, also founded Crystal Head Vodka—a brand inspired by the 13 ancient crystal skulls.
Including Max.
That moment—strange, real, and unforgettable—
became what we now call:
The Chomp of Destiny
It wasn’t coincidence.
It was the genesis of Encoded Elements™.
